Securitas’ security guards monitor businesses that are of particular social importance and facing a great danger of threats such as espionage, sabotage or terrorism. For example, an act of sabotage against a nuclear power plant could have devastating consequences for large parts of society. County administrative boards may arrange for security guards with extended authority for these types of businesses and others that demand the highest possible security, such as airports and military areas.
We have long-standing experience in providing security guard services, and we guard several protected locations that are extremely important from a security standpoint. In addition to extensive expertise, our security guards have a high level of awareness of professional ethics and behavior.
We train our security guards according to National Swedish Police Board regulations, and they are approved by the county administrative board. Security guards may also be armed, depending on the assignment. Thanks to Securitas’ total resources, the service can be reinforced quickly in the event of an elevated threat scenario.
