Recruitment Process

As an employee at Securitas in Sweden, you have the opportunity to help create safe and secure environments at home, at work and in the community. This means that we have high expectations of you as an employee.

Your path to employment at Securitas includes several stages. We will review your CV to determine whether your background and experience are a good fit for the job.

  1. Click on “Available positions” to see whether there is a suitable position available.
  2. If no suitable positions are currently available, you can add your CV to our database, where we can search when recruiting new employees in the future.
  3. If you apply for an advertised position, your application will be assessed based on the requirements for the position.
  4. If you have the right background and experience, you will receive an e-mail with a link to our recruitment tests. The tests should be completed as soon as possible and we will then evaluate your results to determine whether they match the requirements of the position for which you have applied.
  5. If your test results match the requirements, you will be called to an interview.
  6. After your interview, we will check your references. At least two references are required.
  7. We will perform a credit check to ensure that you do not have a record for non-payment of debt. A copy of the credit check information will be sent home to you.
  8. If the position involves night work, you will be asked to undergo a medical examination for night work. Health examinations are also required for certain other positions and must be completed prior to hiring.
  9. Before being hired by Securitas, you must be approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company, regardless of the type of position for which you have applied.
  10. Once these steps have been completed, an employment decision will be made. A certificate of employment or employment contract will be issued.
  11. If you have applied for a position as a security officer, airport terminal security officer or a similar position, we will provide you with training.
  12. The first few days on the job will focus on introductory training. The specifics of this training depend to an extent on your position, but certain areas of the introduction are mandatory for all new employees at Securitas in Sweden.
