We offer security screening of people and objects both as a part of a security solution and as a temporary solution when extra needs arise.
For operations that require careful access control, we offer security screening of people and objects. Our security guards use technical support to search and examine people entering the area, as well as their baggage or other items. This may involve checks of people and baggage for commercial cruises according to the rules on maritime security in a port facility, meaning port facilities that comply with ISPS*, or screening of people and objects entering a protected location or similar facilities. Logistics companies are also common customers for security screening of goods.
Sometimes, extra security checks of people and objects are also needed as a temporary security solution in operations that do not normally have stringent access control. This may include events such as concerts and sporting events, or premises that need greater protection for special reasons, such as universities or conference facilities that arrange lectures with subjects or speakers that can evoke strong feelings and thereby increase the need for security.
Operations that may require security screening
- Shipping companies and port facilities that comply with ISPS* and offer passenger cruises
- Annual General Meetings
- Events such as concerts and sporting events
- Universities and conference facilities that arrange lectures with subjects or speakers that can evoke strong reactions
Our freight X-ray operators are in place to screen air freight in accordance with the prevailing regulations – for example, performing X-rays and explosives checks, as well as other methods for ensuring that air freight does not contain any prohibited objects.
For security screening at airports, we refer to airport services and security solutions for airports.
*ISPS = International ship and port facility security code
